Fencing Course for Adult Beginners
Wimbledon Fencing Club offers a fencing course for the following types of beginner :
- adults who have never tried fencing before and want to take it up
- adults who may have done a little fencing before and want to start again
This 6-week course is structured around the syllabus for the Grade 1 Achievement Award as defined by British Fencing.

Cost |
Beginners' Course - £115 for adults, £90 for full-time students The course fee covers :
Cheques must be payable to "Wimbledon Fencing Club". |

Insurance |

Equipment |
Foils, jackets, plastrons, gloves and masks will be provided. Due to storage limitations, participants may be asked to take home some of the protective clothing until the end of the course. |

Clothing |
Participants should wear a short-sleeve T-shirt, stretchy (track-suit) trousers (not shorts), and trainers (with clean, light-coloured soles). |

Facilities |
There are good changing facilities and showers. However, participants are advised to bring their own bottled (still) water for convenience. |
Fencing will continue until the end of term, at no extra cost, to encourage participation in club activities and competitions.
