Épée Improver Fencing Course

Wimbledon Fencing Club épée improver fencing course will be run by Iuliana Cocora, a former Romanian national fencing team member and European Championship title holder. Iuliana is also one of the épée Talent Coaches on the British Fencing Talent Pathway Programme.

The course will run over 6 consecutive weeks and is open to all (both non-members and members). Each session will start at 7:00 pm with a 30-minute intense group warm-up, followed by 45 minutes of épée group training. It will end with free play on the electric scoring boxes until 9:00pm.

Insurance Course participants must be members of the British Fencing Association for compulsory insurance cover.
Equipment Course participants must provide their own equipment, which must be in good working order.
Facilities
  • Separate male and female toilets are available for changing
  • Course participants are advised bring their own drinking water

  • Wimbledon High School is approximately 10 min walk from Wimbledon Station (Main Line, District Line and Croydon Tramlink) and is served by a good network of bus routes
  • There is no on-site parking; there are a limited number of parking spaces in front of the school on Mansel Road
